INH Automotive Specialists, Pakistan’s biggest independent auto shop, supported the 5th Annual VCCCP Cross Country Rally 2014 through a Vintage Car Show in Lahore. The all-day event was publicly hosted by Vintage & Classic Car Club of Pakistan from 11 AM to 5 PM on Sunday, 16 November 2014 at Royal Palm Golf & Country Club in Lahore. At the event, more than seventy vintage and classic cars from all across Pakistan were showcased, some coming all the way from Karachi and are now heading on to Khyber via Islamabad. INH clientele provided approximately forty cars for this display.

The participating vintage and classic car models ranged from the 1940s to 1980s. Of particular attraction to attendees were 1947 Buick, the oldest car at the event; 1949 MG Y, 1954 Chevrolet, 1957 Austin Healey, 1957 ThunderBird, 1976 Cadillac Alldorado and 1986 Jaguar XJS. Among the cars showcased was also General (Rtd) (late) and former president of Pakistan Ayub Khan’s 1959 Cadillac Fleetwood. The event was attended by politicians Murad Ras and Tahia Noon; architect Rashid Rasheed, Adventurer Qasim Khan from Adventure Travel Pakistan, fashion designer Saira Rizwan and numerous other prominent names from Lahore and beyond.

The Vintage & Classic Car Club of Pakistan (VCCCP) is the only club in Pakistan that acknowledges and pays homage to the automobiles of the bygone era and endeavors to create a common platform for classic car enthusiasts. The club has been known to have organized numerous motoring and social events for its members creating awareness for vintage cars.
INH was founded by Imran Naqvi, Naeem Asghar and Haydar Kirmani. It aspires to be a one stop shop for car enthusiasts as its facilities range from mechanical, electrical, body work, interior design, detailing, tyres, alignment and complete classic car restorations. Occupying over 20 kanals of land area, INH is rapidly making a name for the most comprehensive and exacting standard for classic car restoration in Pakistan and can be credited for the recent renaissance in classic car interest nationwide. Amongst others, INH’s clientele include Coca-Cola Pakistan, Pepsi Pakistan, US Consulate, Crescent Bahuman, Bank Alfalah, Silk Bank, NRTC, Government of Punjab and the popular fashion designer HSY. The company also has a sister workshop successfully operating in Sharjah.
Speaking about the event, Mohsin Ikram, President of the VCCCP said:

We are always very excited to provide an opportunity for people to bring their vintage cars back to life by participating in events such as Vintage Car Show and what better place than Lahore.”
