Faysal Quraishi as Aashiq Hussain is all set to woo your hearts in Rang Laaga!

Faysal Quraishi has never shied away from experimenting with his roles, which makes him one of the most versatile Pakistani actors of the current lot. This time around too, his fans will be absolutely delighted when they watch his latest show. Ready to entertain the audience in an all new avatar, the actor will be seen as character Aashiq Hussain in the brand new TV series Rang Laaga, airing on ARY Digital.

News of the show Rang Laaga spread like wildfire on social media, owing largely to Faysal Quraishi’s official facebook page where behind-the-scenes pictures from the shooting of the show, were posted. Moustache, unruly hair, color blocked wardrobe – everything about his new Aashiq Hussain character is the opposite of what audiences are used to seeing Faysal as in various other roles he has played in the past. The initial revealed plot informed the audience that Aashiq Hussain is a jolly character who cannot help falling in love with every woman he sees. However, instead of being a Casanova or sleazy, Aashiq likes marrying the women he starts fancying. This of course results in him having a couple of wives who are unaware of each other’s existence.

The promos of Rang Laaga are out and caused quite a stir on social media. In one of the trailers, viewers get a chance to see Aashiq being doted on by his mother (portrayed by his real life mother Afshan Qureshi). Having his heart set on actress Saima, he proposes to her however she is not that enthusiastic about the proposal. In another promo, we are shown a glimpse of his other wives played by actresses Zhalay Sarhadi and Neelam Munir. Both promos capture the rustic locations of Karachi beautifully, and every actor looks authentic in their part. The unique styling is very eye-catching and the music is foot-tapping.

About Faysal Quraishi The Star Of Rang Laaga

Faysal Quraishi began his acting career at the tender age of 6 when he first appeared in PTV’s play Emergency Ward. As a child he also appeared in the drama, Andhera Ujala. At the age of 18 Faysal starred in the movie Saza. Four short years and 19 films later Faysal Quraishi quit the movie industry and pursued a career in television drama acting instead. His first major appearance in TV acting was in his role as Boota in Tooba Tek Singh. Faysal began acting in television in 1999 following which in 2003 he hosted his first show with Showbiz Pakistan after which he also hosted Hero Bannay Ke Tarang and was a judge on Pakistan Next Mega Star and Nachle. Faysal’s latest projects include his role as Bashar Momin in Geo’s Drama Serial Bashar Momin and the upcoming serial Iqrar, directed by Furqan Khan.
