Concept, the Band

Sabz Jhanday Walay seems to be on the lips of music and cricket lovers all over Pakistan as cricket fever engulfs the country. The uplifting and lively song is the second hit from Concept, the Band, which rose to fame with their first single, Ik Nukta, which became a runaway success after being aired on ARY Musik, ATV and Vibe TV. The band was founded by doctors Zeeshan Akbar and Haider Shah after the met in medical school and became close friends. Nabeel Akbar joined the band at the time of the formation as guitarist and vocalist. Concept, the Band initially focused on covering hit songs from all over the world but decided to move to original work after winning numerous music competitions. The success of Sabz Jhanday Walay and Ik Nukta validates the wisdom of their move. Performing regularly, all over the country, the band is also working on their upcoming album, Naseeb, which is set for release at the end of the year 2015.
