Sania Maskatiya to Showcase a Capsule Collection, “Dancing Dolls” for the Maybelline New York Make Up Trends Show at Fashion Pakistan Week S/S 2014
The coveted House of Sania Maskatiya announces a collaborative showcase with Maybelline New York [MNY] in celebration of MNY’s 100 years, at Fashion Pakistan Week 2014 on February 20 2014.
To this end Sania Maskatiya reveals “Dancing Dolls”, a capsule collection of five distinct creations. Indeed the Maybelline New York Trend Show draws inspiration from three specific eras within the past 100 years of which Sania Maskatiya’s capsule collection pays homage to trends for the current/futuristic era.
Speaking on her collaboration with Maybelline and the collection her team will be showcasing, Sania Maskatiya has said: “I’m delighted to be working with Maybelline New York and hope that this partnership is the first of many. In celebration of 100 years of evolution of beauty worldwide, my collection lays an emphasis on bold cuts and prints and will attempt to visually portray how beauty and fashion saw a transition through the ages. Expect a riot of colors; juxtaposed with black and white, as is our design houses’ signature style.”
This is Sania Maskatiya’s second collaborative capsule collection in 2014, which marks the brands third anniversary year, and follows their January campaign where the brand introduced scarves designed specifically for retail in partnership with the regions’ leading textile group, Gul Ahmed, in honour and support of Pakistan’s pioneering anti–blindness NGO, the Layton Rahmatulla Benevolent Trust [LRBT]
